Michigan has a long and proud history of honoring and supporting the men and women who have bravely served our country. Those in the water industry are also keenly aware of the excellent training the military provides which makes veterans such excellent candidates to fill the growing number of positions that will need to be filled in the coming years.

When you work for water, you work for the health of your community and the environment. Water is essential to every community and ecosystem; therefore you can find well-paying, stable water jobs almost anywhere. 

The water industry needs you! There is a growing demand for jobs in the environmental field. (1 out of 3 water professionals are currently eligible for retirement). These positions offer you a chance at a “green” career with a purpose that makes a difference in the health and well-being of your community.

Water environment careers include a wide range of interests and abilities:  scientific, social, mechanical, and political to name a few.
